Creatures & Critters Swimming Visuals
A playful way to turn swimming skills into animal adventures!

The swimming activity cards give swimming teachers and parents a fun, visual way to introduce swimming skills through imaginative and exploratory play.
Instead of simply telling swimmers what movement to make, give them a creature to become:
Show the starfish and it's time to make a starfish float β. Show the crab and it's time to crab-walk π¦ along the pool edge.
π‘How they work
Print and Go! Each card has a creature or critter on the front and the swimming activity/instructions on the back. Just show β explain β pretend β move.
The flashcard gives swimmers something immediate to look at and copy, while the instructions on the back tell you how to introduce the activity, what it is for and what to do.
It's a simple way to make swimming practice feel more like a game while still having a clear purpose behind every movement.
Use the cards (12cmx12cm) for the entire swim class session or turn them into a game:
π Charades β choose a card and act out the creature.
π£οΈ Simon Says β βSimon says... swim like a dolphin!β
π΄ Pick a Card β let swimmers choose their own creature and demonstrate the movement.
π Lesson Activity β use individual cards as part of your regular swimming lessons.
π Aquatic Animal Adventure β use them alongside my Aquatic Animal Adventure lesson plan (sold separately) for a complete themed lesson.
Made for teachers and parents and particularly useful for young and beginner swimmers who respond well to visual cues, imitation and imaginative play, not just keeping children busy with random games.
A different approach to making swimming more fun. πΈπ
