TRANSPORT & TRAVEL Swimming Visuals

Turn your next swimming class into a little imaginative trip around the pool!

The deck features activities centered around trains, boats and rockets, while they still build water safety and swim skills!

Sometimes young swimmers learn best when they're not simply being told what to do, but given something fun to pretend to be instead.

Our 16 modes of transport Activity Cards turn swimming skills into a playful journey of aeroplanes, speedboats, trains, rockets and other modes of transport. With each card featuring a colorful vehicle or mode of transport on the front, with the swimming activity and instructions on the back.

Show the card → explain the activity → let the swimmers become the machine.

Aeroplane cards introduce the push and glide, while a speedboat becomes a fun way to practice fast kicking with a kickboard, steering and kicking fast through the water.

Rather than a collection of random activities, each card gives your swimmers something to picture, pretend and do.

Ways to use the cards

Use them alongside my Planes, Trains and Everything Else Transport Aquatic Adventures lesson plan (sold separately), or use the cards on their own for:

✈Simon Says - “Simon says, be a rocket!”

✈Charades - choose a card and act out the transport

✈Choose a Card - let swimmers pick their own activity

✈A quick activity when you need to change things up

✈One-on-one or small-group swimming

✈Parent-and-child swimming activities

They're particularly suited to beginner swimmers and young children who enjoy imaginative, visual and playful ways of learning.
